JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Daily visit to stores on rotational or spot check basis:
    • Detecting/preventing thefts; and apprehending shoplifters
    • Monitor/check back-store receiving to ensure compliance
    • Conduct random transactions check and CCTV viewing
    • Check promoters for compliance of SOPs to prevent losses
    • Random Bag and locker checks (team members & promoters)
    • Check on adequacy of CCTV equipment and to report fault
    • Rectifying CCTV system for inaccurate date/time and record keeping system
    • Recommending feasible loss prevention measures to prevent losses
  • Investigate to gather evidence against suspected persons for dishonesty and reporting them to police or HR or relevant department.
  • Downloading of CCTV recordings request by police or authorities
  • Mount operations to prevent dishonesty and company losses by any party or parties through implementation of secure procedures, surveillance, stakeouts, or random checks including all areas within the company’s business premises.   
  • Half-yearly Loss Prevention & Security and Fire & Safety checks for stores
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting of checks to back to Business Management  
  • Collating monthly internal & external theft cases & losses
  • Monitoring stock-take results – Focusing on stores with repeated poor stocktake results to resolve root cause issues.
  • Loss Prevention Training/Sharing session with team members – Sharing of best practices and prevention from cases detected

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree of related fields
  • At least one year of experience of related jobs
  • Good at communication with internal and external stakeholders especially with public sectors
  • Be able to communicate in English both speaking and writing
  • Be flexible and problem solving
  • Can use MS. Office and Excel
